Financial difficulties have brought the Cenci Studio to the edge of foreclosure. Despite constant struggling and help from close ties, the situation remains serious. Funds through the sale of art or donation are urgently needed.
The studio is not only the site of Cenci’s unique work, but is full of artifacts and mementos from her life and from the era of Picasso. If her property is foreclosed, much of this will be lost.
We ask for your help in any way you can:
- Refer this site to someone looking to purchase art. Pieces have recently been appraised.
- Contact either C. Church (the artist’s son) at sonofacenci@silvanacenci.com or Robyn Smith (friend) at rsmith13@maine.rr.com with ideas or referrals.
